Are you a tour guide, a culinary or arts workshop host, the owner of a tree-top adventure park, or something else entirely? Whatever activity you offer, you can list it on the renowned Get Your Guide platform in just a few clicks. Here is everything you need to know to get your business on Get Your Guide.

What you need to know about Get Your Guide

Get Your Guide is an activity resale platform that launched in 2009 in Zurich, Switzerland. The site grew steadily before attracting serious investor interest. In 2012, Get Your Guide relocated to Berlin and completed its first funding round, raising $14 million.
The site invested heavily in marketing campaigns, going as far as advertising on London buses. At the same time, its activity catalogue grew enormously, now featuring more than 150,000 experiences across 12,000 cities. You will find guided tours, museum and show tickets, airport transfers worldwide, as well as tickets for helicopter flights, hot-air balloon rides and sidecar tours. There is something for every taste and every budget!
In 2026, the site employs more than 700 people worldwide and is available in 37 languages, including French. It has also continued to raise funds. From 2009 to spring 2026, Get Your Guide completed a total of 26 funding rounds raising nearly €2 billion in all. At the start of 2026, the company was valued at around €2 billion.
Get Your Guide has firmly established itself as one of the go-to platforms for activities and guided tours. Its revenue surpassed the €1 billion mark in 2024. And in October 2025, the site proudly announced that it had sold more than 10 million tickets in Q1 2025 alone. So why not you?

How do you list your activities on Get Your Guide?

Because Get Your Guide is very keen to keep expanding its catalogue, the site does everything it can to help activity suppliers sign up and list their offerings on the platform. The process is simple, quick and free. You will find that just a few minutes is all it takes to get listed on Get Your Guide!
You need to sign up via the dedicated supplier section. You will need to fill in a form with your contact details, a description of your activities and your cancellation policy. You will also be required to provide proof that you hold the necessary insurance to run your activities.
Have a question? Get Your Guide provides a knowledge base where you will find answers to the most frequently asked questions.
Once your account has been approved by the Get Your Guide team, your activities will appear on the platform. This only takes a few days. You will of course see all the information you entered, along with your photos and, very importantly, your name at the top of your listing. You will then need to manually monitor your availability and constantly adjust the number of spots available, tour by tour and day by day. If you make a sale on your own website, you will need to reduce the available capacity on Get Your Guide accordingly. This is the most tedious and draining part of the day-to-day workload. Fortunately, Explorates is here to help!
With Explorates, you can access the Channel Management tool for activities built with Get Your Guide's approval. You can then manage availability and pricing centrally, across your own website and Get Your Guide at the same time. For example: a customer books 2 spots for a guided tour on 25 July on your website — those 2 spots are instantly deducted from both your website and Get Your Guide simultaneously. The same applies to cancellations: availability is automatically updated and the spots go back on sale everywhere. You will no longer need to log in to Get Your Guide every time a sale or cancellation happens on your website!

How much does it cost to be on Get Your Guide?

Get Your Guide does not charge any fixed fees — only a commission on your sales. The standard commission is 30% of the VAT-inclusive price. If you generate a high volume of sales, you may become eligible for a reduced commission, which can drop as low as 20%.
Before getting started with Get Your Guide, it is worth reviewing your pricing in advance to make sure your margins remain acceptable. One important thing to know: Get Your Guide does not impose a set price, and you can freely charge more on Get Your Guide than on your own website. This can allow you to offset the commission, partly or in full.
Here again, Explorates has you covered! You can configure a price markup in Explorates to apply to your Get Your Guide rates. For example, you could decide that your prices on Get Your Guide will be 15% higher than on your own website. The choice is yours!
And if you have any questions, the Explorates team is of course on hand to help.
